Today I visited the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden and I saw these beautiful ‘Glass Slipper’ pointe shoes from a production of ‘Cinderella’ on display. Aren’t they gorgeous? ✨🩰✨

I adore pointe shoes. I took ballet “Romantic girls like Beauty and the Beast; vanilla girls like Cinderella; goth girls like Snow White. Only dying girls like Sleeping Beauty.”

I recently read Alix E. Harrow’s novella ‘A Spindle Splintered’ as prep wor This is absolutely not my usual fare — no book, no Cinderella (although there is a pumpkin in the background) — but I’m posting it anyway because this is the best time of year and I’m so excited about this Halloween Tea Countd This weekend I finished reading ‘House of Hollow’ by Krystal Sutherland, which I had had on my spooky season TBR for awhile now. I went into it unsure what to expect and I ended up loving it. The marketing calls it a ‘dark fairy tal “Paying attention to the way ghost stories change through the years — and why these changes are made — can tell us a great deal about how we face our fears and anxieties.” (8)
